wwe smackdown reaction Sheamus defeated Batista via Disqualification

Sheamus and Batista exchange blows back and forth. Sheamus is able to ground Batista, but Batista kicks him in the stomach and knees him in the face. Batista is getting ready to go, but Sheamus hits a clothesline and catches his breath. Sheamus hits a knee lift and clubs Batista in the chest. He hits a power slam and wants to hit the Brogue Kick. Batista slides to the outside and grabs a chair and attacks Sheamus. He throws Sheamus into the ring post and then grabs a mic and says he is going to be WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Reaction: I really thought the match could have been better. Both guys are strong and have a decent skill set. Sheamus is much quicker and smoother in the ring, while Batista just seems a step or two behind. Sheamus continues to be very strong and only gets better and better. He is really good and carried Batista throughout the match.

Score: 5/10

Bray Wyatt defeated The Big Show

Wyatt unloads on Big Show until Show throws him over the rope. Wyatt laughs and taunts Show on the outside. Show smacks him in the chest multiple times and Wyatt tries to fight back. Wyatt hits a few punches and then gets a big boot. Big Show misses an elbow drop and begins to kick down Big Show. Big Show gets back up and hits some clotheslines and misses a splash to the corner. Wyatt throws his body onto Show and hits Sister Abigail for the win.

Reaction:

I am not going to say this was the most pleasing match to watch. That was not the point. Wyatt can wrestle and we saw that at Royal Rumble. His character continues to evolve and be one of the most complex and intriguing characters in the past 20 years. He is different and everyone knows it. I would've liked John Cena to make an appearance, but holding him off may have been the right thing. You have to think that Cena is spooked and afraid. They must keep this up next week as well. Big Show losing does not mean anything, but Wyatt winning does.
