Dolph Ziggler Suffers Concussion…Again

WWE.com has provided an update on Dolph Ziggler's concussion status, and according to Dr. Amann, Ziggler saw a neuropsychologist on Thursday and underwent ImPACT and balance testing. The results of all the testing came back normal, and Ziggler's symptoms have improved since Monday. [Cont…]

You've got to feel for Dolph Ziggler, man. The guy had a better 2013 than most, but the universe seems to have it out for him. He finally got his chance to run with the World Championship after a post-WrestleMania Money in the Bank cash-in, and then SUFFERED A CONCUSSION. He just can't catch a break. WrestleMania 2014 is approaching, and I think fans will be lucky if Dolph makes the main card. He hasn't had a real feud in months, and his former heavy Big E Langston has surpassed him on the roster. I think there's some money in a Intercontinental Championship match between the two come April, but we'll see where the product is at in three months. Ryback may have Ziggler by then…

Mae Young Kicks Out at Two-and-a-Half

Sorry if the title seems a bit inappropriate, but let's look at what actually happened. Mae Young was reportedly taken off life support, then declared dead. Then sources said she was still hanging in there. Now people are saying she wasn't ever on life support. I'm starting to think Mae Young is just sitting at home laughing her ass off, and secretly she's been the one sending in all these false reports left and right. You can just see it, can't you?

In all seriousness, I had a somber moment earlier this week when we all thought Mae had passed. Today's generation of wrestling fan can't truly appreciate how important she is to the history of the industry they love so much. I wish her the best in recovery, and I hope we see her on television again one day. She's probably the toughest old lady alive today, and when she truly passes away – well…first I won't believe it until WWE confirms it, but THEN I'll be very, very sad.
