The Wyatt Family defeated Daniel Bryan

WWE TLC Reaction

This is a match that you really needed to see to enjoy. I had no doubt that Daniel Bryan would end up losing this match because no loss can hurt his steam. He would face off against Rowan and Harper before Bray got into the mix. When Bray Wyatt got into the ring, he dominated. He runs full speed and crashes into the body of Bryan. As Bryan is trying to get up, Wyatt crawls upside down and stares at his opponent. WOW! The little things like this are extremely impressive. "That was creepy" chant echoed through the Toyota Center. He is just so good at being completely different than any other character in WWE. The Wyatt Family picked up the win when Bray hit Sister Abigail onto Bryan. They pose over the body of Bryan. Bray holds his head in a very strange way, basically trying to father him after the beating. I loved the story in this match. I absolutely loved how WWE let Bray be himself and do the motions in the ring that seem to come natural to him. All of the haters of this stable truly do not understand complex and diverse characters like Bray. The storytelling was second to none.

Randy Orton is the WWE World Heavyweight Champion

WWE TLC Reaction

The TLC match between John Cena and Randy Orton was good. It was not the best I have ever seen, but it certainly accomplished something. Randy Orton crashed through two tables before Cena was put through one. Orton took an Attitude Adjustment through the announce table. The ladders and chairs were used accordingly. Cena and Orton exchanged shots to the back with chairs. We had several "close" calls heading up the ladder. One thing I noticed was that Randy Orton did not sell some of the moves too much. That is a problem when fighting in a match like this. You need to give them time to "recover" and not look like it is really fake. Cena hangs onto the titles but Orton hits him with a chair as he is floating in the air. Cena drives Orton through a table. The conclusion began when Orton handcuffed John Cena on the ropes. Cena would unscrew the bottom rope and head to the top. Orton fell off the ladder, but recovered and sent Cena through a table. Orton ends up grabbing the titles and secures the victory.

I am very 50/50 on this ending. It was a clean finish and one that I did not really see coming. It surprised me on that aspect. On the other hand, I wanted to see this match have more of a climatic finish. I was expecting The Authority, especially Vince McMahon, to make more of an impact. At the end of this match, we know a few things.

1. Cena is still their number one guy, championship or not.

2. Randy Orton is getting every opportunity to be the man, but he falls a little short.

3. This cannot be a rematch in 4 months at WrestleMania XXX. If anything, add Punk and Bryan into the mix.
