The Undercard

Santino Marella and Los Matadores defeated 3MB. 3MB were dressed as a British rock band and made me laugh a bit. I really cannot talk about how good or bad this match was because it was just a complete joke. The debut of Matadores has done…. what? NOTHING. There is no reason for them to be on WWE Raw each week. I feel really bad for Slater and McIntyre, two guys who actually have talent.

Grade: D

Damien Sandow defeated Kofi Kingston. This was a pretty good match between the two guys because it was quick and effective. Sandow continues to show his aggression on his opponents, with multiple kicks to the chest of Kingston and a smart focus on specific body parts. Sandow picks up the win with his finisher. This is a match that we would usually see Del Rio or some other world champion in. This is a sign of good things to come for Sandow. It starts in matches like this and builds to something more.

Grade: B-

Axel's Big Problem

Curtis Axel defeated Dolph Ziggler. Axel retains the championship in a hard fought bout between two very solid opponents. I will point out one flaw in Axel. He gets repetitive in the ring and can really drag out move sets throughout. He does not have that flashy and exciting offense. There is not one big move that he hits that gets the fans interested in the match. THAT is a problem. Dolph hits an elbow drop and a Famouser for a near fall. Axel gets on the offensive with a suplex reversal. Ziggler interrupts Axel's attempt on the top rope and hits a beautiful counter. After a blocked attempted ZigZag, Axel finally finishes him off. I would have loved to see a title change here. The crowd would have loved it and Ziggler can do more for that title than Axel currently is.

Currently, Josh Isenberg works for Major League Baseball in their Advanced Media Productions. He grew up in Pittsburgh and went to Point Park University, which is where Chair Shot Reality is filmed each week.

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
