-Bobby Roode comes out with Kazarian and Daniels to talk about entering "their" Hall of Fame. Roode goes on a rant about Kurt Angle and how he didn't deserve to be inducted a few months ago. He says Angle is never there and Roode is the face of the company. Kurt's music hits and out comes Angle. He throws Daniels and Kazarian to the outside of the ring and focuses his attention to Roode. He gets to Roode and tries to lock in an Ankle Lock. Roode escapes and Angle challenges him to a match at Bound For Glory. This was a simple and logical way for Angle to return. You do not need him to be involved in a title match or with Aces and Eights. He slowly comes back and focuses his attention on a worthy opponent. I would love to see the next few weeks with Bobby Roode getting the upper hand. He needs it and needs to focus on the injury of Angle to build layers into their story.

Sting and Magnus defeated Kazarian and Daniels. If Sting and Magnus lost, Dixie Carter said that they would not be involved in a match at Bound For Glory. That spoils the finish of this match, obviously, but it was still a fast paced and methodical match. You have opponents, friends on one team while the other team has been together for years. Magnus was the weak link, as Roode and Kazarian separated him from trying to make a tag to Sting. They hit several punches and exchanged tags back and forth. After a jawbreaker, Magnus fires back with clotheslines. He gets the hot tag to Sting. Sting cleans house of Kazarian. Magnus gets back in the ring and locks in his Cloverleaf finisher onto Kazarian. Daniels hits him from behind. Sting tags himself in and hits a Stinger Splash into the corner and hits a Scorpion Death Drop for the win. Magnus looks irritated that Sting tagged himself in. There is the small detail that will feul some dissention between the competitors in a few weeks. Well done to make it seem natural and logical.

AJ Styles defeated Knux and Garret Bischoff in the main event of the night. Styles rushes to the ring and attacks Garret, trying to get the upper hand from the very beginning. He was in full control of the match and hit a Pele Kick for the win. It was a very generic and lopsided match. Bully Ray would come into the ring after the match and attack Styles. He whips AJ with a chain and beats him down pretty good. The end of the night came when Ray hit a backdrop onto the ramp and taunted his challenger. Man, Bully Ray just knows what to do as a heel. The guy is so natural and so fun to watch mature as a storyline progresses. Him and Styles will be something I look forward to in the next few weeks.
