WWE RawThe Undercard

Alberto Del Rio defeated Kofi Kingston in a very good match. Hate Kingston and Del Rio all you want but they know how to work. Raw has been a consistently good showcase of wrestling inside of the ring. Since Kingston has returned, he has fluttered like usual. With his fast offense and high flying ability, there is always going to be a place for him in the WWE. Would I like to see him get a run at the top? Maybe, but it is not needed right now. As for Del Rio, he continues to try and garner heat from the crowd. It really did not do much here tonight. Kingston and Del Rio worked a fast and very clean match with much to admire. Del Rio picks up the victory by making Kingston tap out. At the end of the match, there was nothing storyline wise for either guy to enhance. I wouldn't have minded RVD coming out and trying to get some revenge on Del Rio.

Grade: B

The Wyatt Family defeated Prime Time Players. Rowan and Harper continue to be booked simple. They do not do things that are outside of their comfort zone. Instead of taking chances and fearing failure, Rowan and Harper use bodyslams, clothesline, and big boots for their offense. It works, for now. Young took the bulk of the beating until O'Neil got the hot tag. The end came when Harper hit a massive clothesline onto O'Neil and picked up the victory. Wyatt hits Sister Abigail after the match. Keep treading the path. That is what WWE needs to do with these three guys. Wait and build.

Grade: C

Randy Orton vs. Rob Van Dam ends in a Double Countout. The biggest piece of this match was that we are continuing to see an improved and aggressive character in Randy Orton. He is a guy that does not care about wins and losses right now. Orton is using his old persona to get that cheap heat. I love how intelligent he is when he attacks his opponents. With ease, Orton focuses on one body part, weakens it, and then goes to another. His psychology is really good with multiple opponents. Rob Van Dam, being a fan favorite, was the right choice this week.

Grade: B-

Fandango defeated Santino Marella. Thank God. A massive legdrop, one that looks more impressive each week, ends the match for Marella. Fandango needs a face turn. Summer Rae and his theme song gets him there sooner rather than later.

Grade: C

Total Divas defeated WWE Divas. This was a very quick match that had 10 Divas involved. Half of them were not even used. Brie Bella picks up the win on AJ Lee. AJ Lee is supposed to be a heel. This isn't working because she is getting a pop in every city, not just Chicago. Weed out the weaker Divas and focus on the 3-4 Divas that can really help the overall interest of the division.
