The Storylines

WWE kicked off Raw with Edge coming out to an incredible reaction from the fans in Toronto. He would bring out Daniel Bryan and compare himself to Daniel. Edge and Bryan began to talk about beating Orton at Night of Champions. Out came Orton, who would be interrupted by Edge. Edge called Triple H stupid and said he is bad at picking out talent. This would bring out The King of Kings, who began to bury Edge. He said Edge could not wrestle like a man anymore and that he never drew a dime. Back and forth they went with Edge getting the upper hand by calling him a d*ck. Triple H booked Bryan vs. Ambrose for later with Big Show in his corner.

Edge has always been solid on the mic. He has a quick intelligence about him that stands out every single time he talks. His comebacks were perfect and a little edgy. (No pun intended.) After the segment was over, Christian was dragged out and beaten down. Edge is furious and wants to get back at Triple H. H tells him to leave his show, leave his city, and leave Raw immediately. This was a fantastic way for Triple H to get some heat from the live crowd. When you bash a Canadian, they all bash you back. It was very "Attitude-esque" stuff from both guys to kick off the show.

Grade: A-

Paul Heyman tried to get himself out of the match by faking an injury. He brought his doctor out and said his ACL is damaged and is withdrawing himself from the match on Sunday. Brad Maddox comes out with the WWE doctor and evaluates him. It is weird that Maddox is making all of this happen. He is supposed to be a heel, yet is helping Punk get his hands on Heyman. Nonetheless, Punk finally comes out and chases off Heyman and Axel. He beats down Heyman's doctor to send a message for Sunday. I enjoyed how Punk did not have to say anything. He struck one last swing of a Kendo Stick to the head of the doctor and that was it. There is not much more to say right now between the guys. Let the match happen and let's continue the build where Punk destroys Heyman.

Currently, Josh Isenberg works for Major League Baseball in their Advanced Media Productions. He grew up in Pittsburgh and went to Point Park University, which is where Chair Shot Reality is filmed each week.

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
