Title That: WWE Raw Reaction August 19th, 2013

Josh Isenberg only does an "undercard" and the "main events". Raw is a three hour program, and I'm bored, so you get a "midcard" as well. You know me, always shaking things up…

Dolph ZigglerThe Shield def. Dolph Ziggler in a 3-on-1 handicap match. Dolph Ziggler doesn't have a mid-section anymore after getting speared in half by Roman Reigns. After the match, they powerbombed the hell out of him. Poor Ziggler, going from world champion, to a mixed tag team match at SummerSlam, to getting written off in a handicap match on Raw. This was actually pretty competitive, and highly entertaining, even with the announcers not bothering to call the action, in favor of bickering about Randy Orton and Triple H.

Alberto del Rio def. Sin Cara when El Herida Supremo dislocated his finger. It literally took Sin Cara less than a minute coming back from injury, to injure himself. I guess there's a ton of heat on him backstage, as he becomes El Triste Supremo whenever he's booked to lose a match. Seriously…why does this man still have a job?

-Alberto del Rio tries to give another promo about being a hero to the fans, and to the Latino community. Ricardo Rodriguez comes back from being attacked with a bucket to announce that he's got a new client: Rob Van Dam. RVD rushes the ring, kicks del Rio in the face, and almost hits the Five Star Frog Splash, but the champion escapes to the back. I'm not sure why RVD is the hero of the Latino community, and he seems an odd pairing for Ricardo, but this could be an interesting relationship. I think it's probably just a short-term thing to get RVD into the title picture, but we'll see…
