Bobby Roode defeated Hernandez in a Bound For Glory Series Match. The beginning of this match saw Roode attack the much larger Hernandez to gain the upper hand. After some quick exchanges, Roode is able to lock in the Crossface. Hernandez was overpowering him to get to his feet, connects with a side slam, and then hits some clotheslines. I felt the match needed a little more power from Hernandez but I understand that Bobby Roode needed to be the one that looked best. He is the guy that, in this match, is worth the win. Roode can easily become the champion again without much change in his character. The end came Roode hit a beer bottle over the head of Hernandez and gets the win. I loved the cheap, old fashioned victory for Roode. Does this foreshadow Beer Money? I wish.

Joseph Park defeated Jay Bradley in a Bound For Glory Series Match . Once again, I will go on a rant about the stale and boring character that Joseph Park is. I have never been a fan of this gimmick and feel like they are trying too hard for something so simplistic to happen. Eric Young was helping Park before the match and gave him headgear to wear in the ring. I am warming up to what Eric Young can provide in TNA, but can he do anything else besides be somewhat comical? Jay Bradley has a young, but interesting, look. I think he has the ability to be more than just a jobber, but they need to find something important for him to be involved so he gets more exposure.

Gail Kim vs. ODB ends in a Double Countout. If TNA has any big advantage over WWE, it is their Knockouts Division vs. Divas Division. Gail Kim has been booked like the best wrestler in the world, which is what they should do with her. Mickie James vs. Gail Kim is inevitable and will be an excellent bout. This match showcased the personal hatred that ODB is supposed to have for Kim because of the interactions as referee in the previous months. The match was relatively quick but made a point that both women are physical, aggressive, and can hold their own against any body type.

Chris Sabin defeated Manik in a champion vs. champion match. I find this hilarious because these are the supposed top two guys in the company. They hold the top two belts, so shouldn't they be used as more relevant? Sabin wins with Hail Sabin after a really entertaining match. I did not like Manik in the match controlling so much because Sabin needs to be built up more and more each week. The way he won his championship was not booked in the strongest of manners. The action was fun to watch, but my problems lie in what TNA thinks about both guys. Sabin is super talented but has the title because of his injury and the return from it. Give him the belt for the more obvious and deserving reason. Manik looks like a action figure you would find at K-Mart. He is generic looking and needs a change immediately.
