Mt. Killamanjaro: TNA Impact Wrestling & Destination X Review – All Hail Sabin, the Zach Gowen of World Champions

Hulk Hogan is motivating Chris Sabin backstage. Sexually.

The Main Event Mafia hits the ring and says they're ready to do battle with the Aces & Eights, and call them out. Ken Anderson and his boys are up on the tron instead, and challenge them to take the fight backstage. The Mafia runs backstage, into the most obvious trap I have ever seen, and gets locked in a room. All except for Kurt Angle, who is thrown in the back of a truck and driven away.

KILLAM: They couldn't run this angle with Samoa Joe because last time he got kidnapped, he showed up six months later without a gimmick, his facepaint and his machete.

Rubix vs. Rockstar Spud vs. Greg Marasciulo

Rating: ***

Ahem…Trent Barreta.

KILLAM: Greg Marasciulo? I know TNA can't use "Trent Barreta" but how is a guy supposed to get over with a real name like that? Couldn't they have come up with something equally hilarious, like "ManBuster" or "Greg Barreta" or "Still Better Than Zack Ryder"? The match was alright. Not to the quality of the others, though. Rockstar Spud may be a "veteran", but so far what I've seen him do is a whole lot of showboating, and not a whole lot of anything else.

Apparently Kurt Angle killed the truck driver, stole the vehicle and came back to the Impact Zone.

Mickie James came out and rolled footage of her singing in some karaoke bar in Dudleyville, or Parts Unknown or some such foolishness. Budget cuts effecting everyone, apparently. Gail Kim cuts her off and, after some Madison Rayne-style petty bullshit, slaps her in the face.

Austin Aries wishes Chris Sabin luck in the world title match.

Backstage promo from AJ Styles, putting the X-Division on the map, not giving a shit, etc. Next week he gets Jeff Hardy, one-on-one.
