Wrestlezone’s Top 10: What We Learned at WWE Money in the Bank

Number 8: Mark Henry is NOT WWE Championship Material

Mark Henry

Mark Henry and John Cena put on an entertaining match that saw Cena make Henry tap out. I have said it before and I will say it again: If this was another month, not before a major Pay Per View, WWE could have given Henry the win. I love what he has done over the past few years. He has evolved from a joke to a true beast in the ring, on the microphone. Let’s face reality, though. Mark Henry is NOT WWE Championship material. I feel bad for him because I feel like he could and should be, but the brass do not have the full confidence in him to carry the most prestigious title in the company. If they did, he would have won here. All of the positives were pointing to him and not Cena in this feud. Mark Henry carried the feud and made the memorable promo. Unfortuately, he will be relegated to a mid card match at Summerslam because that is what WWE officials think he is best suited for. Agree or disagree, we can still enjoy how good he truly is.
