Title This: WWE Raw Reaction July 1st, 2013

John CenaThe Main Event

John Cena defeated Alberto Del Rio in a "Champion vs. Champion" match. Throughout the night, WWE shoved this match down our throats. They highlighted former champions and tried to make this match feel big. We all knew what would happen. Dolph Ziggler came out, as well as Mark Henry, and tried to distract their counterparts for Money in the Bank. Cena hits an Attitude Adjustment and picks up the win.

The match itself was really good, but the outcome was too predictable and too forced. When the majority knows what is going to happen, it really puts a damper on the overall wrestling portions of the match. I wanted to see them do something different, but WWE seems to be on auto pilot tonight. Here is why Raw was poor.

1. The crowd was awful

2. All of the outcomes were predictable

3. The Shield has been bumped down SO much

4. There was not a reason to tune in next week

5. Rematches can only do so much for the fans

6. The crowd was awful

7. Alberto Del Rio is still not over, while John Cena continues to do the same thing.

8. Not enough Paul Heyman

Raw Grade: D+
