The Main Events

– With all the speculation about the retirement of Mark Henry, it was time for him to come out and finally speak. John Cena talks about being the WWE Champion and then out comes Henry all dressed up. He looked sharp in the pink jacket and really drew me in. For a few minutes, I really thought this was it for him. Mark Henry talks about his family, his past, and what the future holds for his family. Mark Henry cuts an incredible promo, one that I will always remember. He cried, showed up to the crowd, and drew so much emotion out of his body. Alas, he hit Cena with the World's Strongest Slam and says he is not retiring and has a lot left in the tank. WOW! What an incredible segment and one that I loved. It was executed perfectly. I really do not think many people thought this was a work. Check Twitter, look at facebook. All of the fans thought this was it. Henry is back and will face Cena at Money in the Bank. If the match isn't what you want in terms of wrestling, sit back and enjoy the work of Henry on the microphone and selling this story. It should be MUCH better than Ryback.

Grade: A

CM Punk defeated Alberto Del Rio in the main event. It was a really solid bout in the ring, but the bigger story was what happened after. Del Rio would be counted out and then attacked by Dolph Ziggler. Brock Lesnar's music hit and out comes the beast. Lesnar, like usual, circles the ring. He gets into the ring and asks for the microphone. He drops the microphone and then drops CM Punk with an F5.

Once again, WWE delivers. I love this ending because Punk and Lesnar should be at Summerslam, not Wrestlemania. It is hard for me to believe that Punk could actually beat Lesnar, but who really could realistically? This is a fake sport and I need to remember that from time to time. Anyways, this sets up for a few different paths. Was Paul Heyman behind the attack? What will Punk do next? Will Lesnar appear next week? These questions are powerful enough for them to wait around for few weeks. Paul Heyman and CM Punk can SELL this story, while Lesnar comes in and kicks ass when he needs to. I love it.
