Title This: WWE Raw Reaction June 10th, 2013

Triple HThe Main Events

Curtis Axel defeated Triple H, twice, in one night. Vince McMahon came out and told Justin Roberts and the time keeper to call the match. Back and forth, restarted and ended, Vince would have to grab the ring bell and stop the match. This argument involved Stephanie McMahon, who would be in the middle of her father and husband. I liked it at first because it was a battle of man vs. man. It was simple and had a very real situation that I am sure many people can connect to. As the night went on, the ending came when they made up. They somewhat made up and tried to apologize to one another to be the bigger man. The ending was very boring and did not make me HAVE to watch to see what happens next. It felt like WWE was either running out of ideas or holding off as much as possible before erupting a big confrontation. Nonetheless, the McMahon family are always interesting to watch and make the show more important.

Grade: C+

John Cena and Ryback go face to face at the end of the night. Cena and Ryback exchange words. Ryback talks about how he is taking Cena's spot on Sunday and stopping his legacy. The lumberjacks are out and try to separate the men. They get a few blows in until the show goes off the air. This was an extremely poor ending. Why do I want to buy WWE Payback? Not because of this match, which will be last on the card. Why not do more with the Ambulance? Why was the sole identifier of the two men the lumberjack match, which is always the same outcome. I really thought this was a terrible ending to a rather solid show.

Grade: D+

*Not enough Dolph vs. Alberto Del Rio hype, horrible Raw ending, and very boring builds to matches other than Shield matches. They needed to focus on what would sell the Pay Per View, not fill it.

Raw Grade: C
