The Main Event

–Ryback is the big story on Smackdown tonight. He goes from starting off the night on Chris Jericho's Highlight Reel to main eventing against said person. The beginning was good for Ryback. He was carried along the way by Jericho, who gets the best promos and interviews out of everyone. I really think Ryback is above average on the microphone. All he needs to do is to learn about pacing and dictation. He sounds the same every single sentence. He is getting better and does not ramble on as much. This was a positive step for Ryback tonight.

Chris Jericho defeated Ryback via Disqualification. Jericho really was able to get the best out of Ryback. Ryback is strong, intense, and lacks chemistry. What Ryback lacks, Jericho has. The match was booked smart. Jericho worked his way into the match in a smart and calculating way. He worked over the limbs of Ryback until he finally got taken down. As Ryback tried to finish him off, Jericho used his experience to reverse many of his moves. He was always one step quicker. The end came when Ryback attacked and got himself DQ'ed with some cheap shots onto Jericho.

-Ryback gets the boos from the crowd. This was BRILLIANT. Everyone loves Jericho. Everyone does NOT love Ryback. When Cena is not on the show, WWE has to find the most popular guy for Ryback to get heat from. Once again, Chris Jericho helps the younger talent. He is so valuable in so many ways for this company.

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
