The Main Event
–The Shield cut a promo in the ring about how they are serving justice to the WWE. They run down who they have defeated. It was excellent to see these guys get so much time in the ring to talk. Obviously, Ambrose is an excellent speaker who can use his words paced perfectly and with much emphasis. They get interrupted by 3MB, beat them down, and then escape before Team Hell No can attack.
-The main event changes multiple times. Ryback decides that John Cena will not be there for him, so Ryback basically leaves the arena. Call Ultimate Warrior, because Ryback is stealing the way he speaks. The breathing, the intonation, and the snorting like he is dying for water is very similar. At least he makes some sense in what he says. Lastly, we get John Cena and Team Hell No vs. The Shield.
-The Shield pick up the victory in this match when John Cena plays up his injury, followed by a Roman Reigns spear. Again, we KNEW Shield would win, but how? Who do they pin? I like the fact that they pinned John Cena because it then preserves the imminent match between Team Hell No and them. At the end of the night, WWE plays up Cena's injury while Ryback looks on. This told me one thing. WWE does not know the severity of John Cena's injury yet. Similar to how he was hurt before WWE Hell in a Cell, they want to make certain they are without him before starting anything else. Next week is crucial.
