Title This: Impact Wrestling Reaction 4-11-13

The Storylines

-AJ Styles is confronted by Hulk Hogan. Hogan wants answers and Styles says he does not do well with ultimatums. After that, James Storm comes out and says he is here to fight. This brings out Kazarian and Daniels, who say that Styles should be on their team. They bash Team TNA and Aces and Eights, which was brillant. They are heels and do not need to be associated with TNA or Aces and Eights. I enjoyed this little wrinkle and makes Bad Influence stick out in my mind a little more. They are hard workers and continue to be a stability for the show.

-Hogan books Styles vs. Storm for next week, but I wonder if this was the right decision. Styles still is very quiet and unsure of what he is doing. I feel like this character does not need to wrestle for a few more weeks. Instead, let him lurk around the main event matches, anticipating what to do next. Hell, if he strings everyone along for a month and makes his decision, doesn't that make it that much more on an impact?

-Storm is a good opponent for Styles, especially if they want Styles to be a heel. DO NOT have Styles join Aces and Eights. Also, he should not align himself with his arch enemies. That is too illogical and very WCW booking. It makes no sense. Keep Styles in the character he is. If they have him wrestle next week, change the music and gear. Have us seeking a change in his character. He has the ability to do it. It just needs to be given the green light.

-I feel like this intrigues me because I am uncertain of what they actually are going to do with him. That is probably the hardest and best thing to do to a fan or a columnist. My prediction is that Styles turns heel and stays to himself for a while. Let him build his own character and personality.
