FandangoThe Stories

The Rise of Fandango

Fandango was scheduled to compete with Kofi Kingston, but was quickly interrupted by Chris Jericho. They brawled all over the ring and onto the floor. This was an excellent way for Fandango and Jericho's feud to continue. I feel like Jericho was not happy with his match and the ending, so they feud continues. They would have been overshadowed at Wrestlemania anyways.

Fandango needs to thank the crowd to helping him out. The crowd was absolutely nuts all night, but humming his music will make Vince think that he is starting to get over more than he is. I am a huge supporter and think he has much to offer in the WWE, but he needs to have that one match where people attach themselves to. They did it with Bryan, Punk, Ziggler, and many others when they were brand new. Fandango will have a spot on Raw every single week now, thanks to the crowd in the IZOD Center.

Grade: B+

-The Undertaker comes out and wants to pay his respects for Paul Bearer. He is interrupted by The Shield. They surround the ring, but Kane and Bryan come out to make the save. This was quickly thought up of when WWE realized that Punk and Rock will not be on Extreme Rules. I wonder if Lesnar will, but it looks like The Undertaker will wrestle sooner than later. What better way to protect him than against The Shield in a 6 man tag match. He will not have to work 20-30 minutes, but only 3-5. He is capable of doing that. I would have loved to see The Shield work over Taker a little before he was saved, but I understand the logic behind it. The Shield going after The Undertaker is BRILLIANT. We all wondered who was next, since they've defeated so many big names. This is a way to keep them at the top of the card, the front of our minds, and the spotlight of any night.
