The Wrestlemania Prediction Machine Part 1: WZ Staff Predicts the Undercard Winners

Tons of Funk, Naomi, and Cameron vs. Team Rhodes Scholars and The Bellas

Damien Sandow

Mike Killam:

This is generally the kind of filler match the faces win to keep the crowd happy in the Mania down time. And since Team Funk is facing the Rhodes Scholars, who WWE seems to be incapable of handling correctly, I think this Sunday’s conclusion is pretty darn obvious.

Nick Paglino:

Obviously this year’s WrestleMania mid-card has been largely ignored due to primary focus being placed on the main events, but it’s good to see some fresh faces fleshing out the undercard this year. Guys like Sandow, Ryback, Fandango, The Shield, Big E. Langston, etc are all making their WrestleMania debuts and will be given the chance to make a name for themselves on the biggest stage of them all. That said, the team of Brodus Clay and Tensai has been fun, and has certainly given these two aimless talents a place in WWE lately, but I think the more important and impactful team in this bout is Team Rhodes Scholars, so I expect them to pick up the win and they certainly need it.

Josh Isenberg:

It looks like WWE knew they made a HUGE mistake when they separated Rhodes and Sandow a few months ago. They work so well together and mesh their personalities to a T. I really enjoy them and think they are excellent for a tag team division that desperately needs a boost of adrenaline. If the faces win, what is the point of bringing back Rhodes Scholars AND The Bellas? I think the heels need to win. They have much more to gain here than Brodus and T do.

Brian Gulish:

The teams are trending in opposite directions with the Rhodes Scholars separated, then brought back together; Tensai and Brodus are a perfect match for each other.  I look for dissention between Cody, Damian and the Bella’s to cost them the match.  The faces get the win here.

Bill Pritchard:

I don’t care for this match, but it does have some buildup to it. Good way to feature everyone on the card, and it should be a decent match. I see Rhodes/Bellas winning dirty, or one of the Funkadactyls winning via rollup to put those girls over.
