Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar

-Shawn Michaels came out to talk about his best friend fighting Brock Lesnar. He says you cannot compare his retirement match to Triple H's. He says Taker respected him and still does, but Lesnar never has. I feel, for the most part, Michaels did all he could tonight. The fight is on and Paul Heyman cut a beautiful promo to hype up Lesnar. You just need these monsters to brawl. Their peak was when Triple H cut Lesnar open. Since then, they have been on cruise control. It is not a bad thing, but people are ready to see how this plays out.

I still wish Stephanie, Vince, Sable, and other personal pieces were involved. It began to drag a few weeks ago when the contract signing was just average. Now, it is time to fight. This was a good segment, but I expected more.

The Rock vs. John Cena

-Both men cut promos. John Cena started the night off talking about how he needs this and basically says the same stuff we have heard from him in the past. The fans chant boring and rightfully so. Cena, not to his fault primarily, is given a script that only allows him to say certain things. My question is should John Cena FINALLY turn heel at Wrestlemania 29? Think about this. John Cena cheats to win against The Rock. He slowly beings a heel turn that has him as champion for a while, only to drop it to someone at Summerslam. He then gets upset and wants revenge, but challenges The Undertaker as a heel at Wrestlemania 30. That is my ultimate dream. Will it happen? Probably not, but a year of slowly turning Cena would be perfect for them to spice things up.

The match at Wrestlemania will be under 30 minutes of wrestling and that will be perfect. I want to see this be different from a year ago. Rock has two matches against the best wrestler to build off of. He is in better physical condition and it seems like his cardio has improved greatly. Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber were good matches for him. He needed to fight someone NOT John Cena. Cena and Rock are similar in the ring, sticking to what they know. Rock is definitely more advanced, but this is going to be a match with more high spots and chances. This will be much better overall, even if the build has lacked.

CM Punk vs. The Undertaker

-Well, the night ended with all focus on The Undertaker. He talks about how his streak could end because of what he is going to do to CM Punk. He talks about the disrespect for Paul Bearer. Cue an organ and druids, who are holding flames. Taker looks confused and then we see Paul Heyman dressed as Paul Bearer holding the urn in his hands. Undertake walks up the ramp, looks around, and attacks the druids. Punk reveals himself as a druid and beats him down with the urn. This was EXCELLENT. It crossed a personal line that desperately needed to be crossed.

I never wish death on anyone, but the unfortunate death of Paul Bearer has helped this storyline. I wonder what they had originally planned before the events of his passing. We may never know, but Bearer would love this. This is such a compliment to how great he was, that an entire storyline for Punk and Taker revolved around him. I would be extremely complimented. My favorite part was seeing Punk pour the "ashes" all over his body and cover himself in the remains. It was chilling and a perfect way to boost the storyline to a new level. Punk drops pipebombs and this one was certainly a memorable one.
