The Main Event

Sheamus vs. The Big Show ended in No Contest. This was actually a very entertaining match. Big Show pulled out a spear, a back body drop, and an impressive reverse Powerbomb. You can tell that Sheamus was able to get all of the athleticism out of the Giant. I know some people cannot stand Big Show, but I give him credit tonight for being able to keep up with a beast in the ring like Sheamus. Big Show was knocked to the outside, which brought out The Shield.

-The Shield attacked, but Show fought them off as well. Big Show hit a Knockout Punch onto Sheamus and then Randy Orton stood tall after an RKO. You can see that the 6 man tag match will take place at Wrestlemania. I am alright with this, especially how they are booking it. Big Show does not NEED to be a face to be in this match, but just a Giant who is seeking revenge. It still is very random and feels like it was a last resort. They could not add Ryback again to these guys. I just wonder if they had NOTHING else for Big Show so they threw him in here. He is very weak as a face, so keep him like how he right now.

-The Shield is the definition of a team. If you make them look stronger and stronger, you can sense how they will be able to continue to get over with the crowd. I love their characters. Do they get singles action heading into Wrestlemania? I would not mind that against guys like Sheamus and Orton, with the possibility of Show being a major distraction for better or worse. They have many options and I hope they let it grow more and more.

Currently, Josh Isenberg works for Major League Baseball in their Advanced Media Productions. He grew up in Pittsburgh and went to Point Park University, which is where Chair Shot Reality is filmed each week.

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
