What’s NOT Bothering Me: HHH Returns, Cena, Punk vs Taker

The Undertaker vs CM Punk#2. CM Punk vs The Undertaker

The title isn't on the line, but it doesn't need to be. CM Punk vs Undertaker is going to steal the show this April; I'd be willing to put my money on that fact.

I've noticed some fans concerned over one picture that surfaced where Undertaker didn't look to be in the best shape. Don't sweat it too much. Taker has five solid weeks to prepare for this match – his conditioning will be there. Of course, his hair is a different story.

Readers of mine know I have fought tooth and nail for the streak to end at some point, before Undertaker hangs the boots up. I still think it should happen, but not this year, not with Punk.

CM Punk would be the PERFECT guy to beat the streak if he was guaranteed to be around for another five years. But even Punk will tell you he likely only has another couple years left. I wouldn't waste the opportunity beating Undertaker at WrestleMania gives a guy if that guy is only able to ride that wave for a year or two after the fact.

That being said, I think this match between Punk and Taker at WrestleMania has a chance to be a better STORY told than Taker's had in the last several years. I don't think anyone seriously expected HBK or HHH to end the streak; Punk has the ability and talent to make us think he will before the match takes place.

And don't count out the match just yet either. So many are already dismissing its chances to top the last four years, primarily due to Undertaker's health, but I think otherwise. As I mentioned above, Taker will be ready by April 7th. And what happens between those two bells will be as good, if not better, than anything we've seen in the past decade. I'm counting on it.
