The Main Event

To kick off WWE Raw, John Cena and CM Punk made a great exchange of words, back and forth about their history with themselves and The Rock. John Cena would end up putting his chance to headline Wrestlemania on the line next week against CM Punk. Punk accepted and walked away. This creates a reason for the WWE Universe to not care that The Rock will miss a week of Raw. Smart booking idea. Bad booking reasoning. You should have your WWE Champion there every single night, and it is ridiculous to build around the weeks he misses. Nonethless, his reward is much bigger than the risk. We have seen that already.

This also tells me that The Undertaker MAY NOT be wrestling this year. If he does not, it will be missed, but by how much? We have The Rock, Triple H, Brock Lesnar, John Cena, CM Punk, and others to fill the void. One thing that should also fill that void is Money in the Bank, but that is a discussion for another day. The end of the night had The Rock unveil the new WWE Championship belt.

– First off, if you complain that you hate it, look at the ridiculous Spinner Belt we have had for eight years. This is simple, yet glamorous. The WWE Championship belt needs to be recognized as just that, the "WWE" Championship. That logo is huge and looks good against the solid black. There does not need to be a ton of bling to make it look more expensive. I actually like the belt, and they could have done ALOT worse.

– Do not forget Vince McMahon vs. Paul Heyman next week, in a fight. This should be the perfect time for Brock Lesnar to come out, only to be interrupted by Triple H. That is the most logical and simplistic way to bring these two beasts back face to face. Another way to have the WWE Universe NOT think of The Rock's absense.

He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
