Wrestlezone’s Top 10: Potential Royal Rumble Winners

Number 2: Randy Orton

Is there a talent that needs a drastic change in his character than a guy like Randy Orton? The winner of the 2009 Royal Rumble is getting the 2012 Sheamus treatment, with little feuds and dominating mid card talents each week. This could be a sure sign that Randy Orton could win the Royal Rumble match. If you give Orton the victory, it gives the WWE more time to figure out what pairings they want for the rest of the Wrestlemania card. Keep in mind, Elimination Chamber is inbetween those events, and have given us a swerve in the road from time to time. Look back to Edge winning the World Heavyweight Championship, where nobody expected it. This could be an easy way to please Orton, to book the World Heavyweight Championship (which will be the 4th most important match at Wrestlemania) and to give some creative flexibility. They do not want to outshine Rock’s match, and this winner certainly will not.

Currently, Josh Isenberg works for Major League Baseball in their Advanced Media Productions. He grew up in Pittsburgh and went to Point Park University, which is where Chair Shot Reality is filmed each week.

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
