John CenaThe Stories

Big Show defeated Kofi Kingston in a squash match that had one Knockout Punch. Kofi Kingston loses the title, and then gets relegated to this nonsense. He will never get to the next level when he is booked like this. It is ashame because he is a great talent that is just stuck in a continued pattern. The bigger question I have is what the hell is going on with the World Heavyweight Championship?

Alberto Del Rio is not seen on Raw, but is advertised for Smackdown. If you want him to turn face, make it happen now. Make it happen on Live TV, and not on a taped show. People need to be reminded time and time again what you are trying to do with him. Actually, I do not think the WWE knows what to do with him. Also, since Big Show is champion, you have limited yourself with opponents. Instead of bringing younger and better wrestlers up, you need to rely on veterans that you think could possibly defeat Show. Del Rio is not believable, Sheamus was, and there are only a few more that are. I expect Big Show to drop the title inside Elimination Chamber. It is the simple and easiest way for a giant to lose and not lose respectability. Grade: C

John Cena defeated Dolph Ziggler to kick off the action on Raw. This was a really good match between the two, and some can say the action was more fluent than at WWE TLC. The timing was on and the intensity was there from the very beginning. Dolph Ziggler is incredible at following through with every single move. Go back and watch his DDT or his Superkick. He puts all of his body and effort into making each move look perfect. Cena was able to sell those moves and give Ziggler the spotlight. With AJ Lee and Big E Langston ejected, this was a good opportunity for Dolph to take control and really shine on his own. He does not need to be booked as a coward each and every week, so I was hoping he thrived here. Instead, Big E tried to help him again, but Cena came back and hit the AA on Ziggler for the win. Both men talked about entering the Royal Rumble, but I really wanted both men to find other guys to go after when WWE TLC concluded. There is really nothing to fight about, and I know AJ turned her back. This works more if Cena cared about losing her, but he is not being booked that way. I really want Ziggler to cash in, but maybe they will hold it until after Elimination Chamber. He needs to before Wrestlemania, in my mind. Grade: B+
