Title This: WWE TLC Reaction 12/16/12

Kofi Kingstong– MizTV has 3MB as the guests. The Miz bashes them and they begin to insult the Spanish Announcer's. Ricardo Rodriguez gets attacked, but Alberto Del Rio comes out to make the save. It looks like Del Rio will be a face now, and I am happy for it. He needs his character to be refreshed, so this works perfectly for me.

Kofi Kingston defeated Wade Barrett to retain the Intercontinental Championship. Kingston was on the top of his game tonight, as well as Barrett. I have been a big fan of both of these guys working together for a few reasons. There is length from these two in a feud, and I doubt it will end tonight. Kofi was able to outsmart Wade early, hitting a beautiful suicide dive to the outside. When Barrett was on the offensive, he was able to adapt his style in an easier way. Wade aggressively attacked the lower body of Kingston, and that is the smartest way to slow down a faster opponent. Barrett hit a few nice moves including a backbreaker and a side slam. I love his inverted side slam where he rotates his opponent mid air. That really shows his strength and ability to make classic moves look more difficult. Wade was looking for his finisher, but Kofi surprises him with a Trouble in Paradise for the victory. This was a well done match, logically booked, but where does Wade go from here? Shall we get more matches from these two men? I hope so because, if not, I fear Wade goes to Del Rio status where his character is confused with nowhere to go.

-Punk is seen in a box, and talks about his championship reign. There was nothing amazing here, except for his new T-Shirt. It mocks The Rock, and think it is extremely clever to have him point out flaws and mock someone as popular as The Rock.

The Shield defeated Ryback and Team Hell No in a TLC Match

If you doubted this pairing like I did, you will HAVE to say that you were absolutely wrong. From the very beginning, all six men caused chaos and hell. There was never a moment in this match where things slowed down and got dull. We all needed to see what Roman, Seth, and Dean could do with the talents of Bryan, Kane, and Ryback. I loved this match and it did wonders for The Shield. Some of the best spots included Reigns spearing Kane through the side of the barricade, Ryback lifting ladders and chairs to attack Ambrose, and a powerbomb on Ambrose. There was so much to love in this match. Daniel Bryan was SPECTACULAR in this match, with his multiple kicks to two opponents in the match. He was the lifeline of the team, saving them multiple times. Ryback was triple powerbombed through the table, and the biggest spot came shortly after. Rollins went up the ladder near the stage, but Ryback tossed him through tables and it looked absolutely gruesome. Rollins took a bump and welcomed himself to the WWE. The finish came when Ryback tried to come save Bryan, but could not make it in time. There was not a spot in this match where I disliked the actions, the logical booking, and the overall appeal. Well done in every avenue.
