Title This: Impact Wrestling Reaction 11-15

Impact WrestlingThe Undercard:

Rob Van Dam Defeated Kid Kash to retain the X Division Championship in a pretty entertaining match. RVD was able to control the better parts of the match after he reversed a nice move from Kash. I thought the headscissors was executed to perfection, and Kash looked extremely aggressive. This is what you have to do to RVD, someone who comes at you fast. RVD picked up the victory with a 5 Star Frog Splash, and basically did a few of his original moves beforehand. This was a decent match, but I wonder what the title is really for now? Before, it was for rising stars, but now it is fought for washed up veterans with little to gain. Grade: C+

Jesse defeated Eric Young in what was nothing special. I really do not understand why Jesse is getting this big push in the company, while other guys are sitting at home doing nothing whatsoever. Kudos to EY for trying to drag him along during the match. Jesse has a good look, but what else is there to him? I wonder what the payoff is going to be, which is probably going to be nothing. Give me Tara and give me ODB multiple times before they throw this on my television. Grade: D

Kurt Angle and Garrett Bischoff defeated Aces and Eights. This was an intriguing match to me for a few reasons. First off, there has been talk of Eric Bischoff being one of the masterminds, so implimenting his son would be a nice touch. Second, I did not expect Aces and Eights to suffer a loss, as they need to get legit wins over big opponents. Kurt Angle, in my mind, is always going to be a guy that can make someone's career. His intensity in the ring was great, as well as his ability to make his German Suplexes look painful every single time. The biggest piece of this, aside from Angle really have a great exchange with DOC in the middle of the match, was Wes Brisco FINALLY doing something. He runs off the gang, while Angle picks up a rollup victory. Brisco has a solid look and the pedigree. All he needs is the right moment. Grade: B

Mickie James Wins Knockouts Number 1 Contender Match. Short and simple here, the best Knockout won. James needs to get back to that championship, have great matches with Tara, and forget about the other Knockout's who are there purely on looks. Grade: B-
