The Stories

So Brad Maddox got his chance. Ryback defeated Brad Maddox in a match that was cat and mouse. After Ryback finally got ahold of the young kid, Maddox was dominated. He stood no chance, took clothesline and multiple powerbombs from the powerhouse, and ended up getting pinned. So, the point of Maddox is what? I am still trying to decide where the payoff is. You ruin a guy like Ryback and his streak (Even though he is still red hot) but I feel like he should have done something more here. I am so clueless as to find out what is going to happen because THEY do not even know! How can you be so illogical and almost ruin a guy who could be a top name for a decade? Grade: C-

AJ Lee, John Cena, Vickie Guerrero, and Dolph Ziggler get into the storyline of the affair. I really think this is a great way for AJ to stay at the top of the WWE Raw storylines, but it still is very slow building. Can we get more than photos, a voicemail, and lazy creativity? Also, Ziggler is out of place here because him and Vickie were together previously. So, why didn't Vickie get fired? Oh, yes the logic is uncanny. When this continues, there needs to be big evidence, and not 5 minutes of recapping what already happened. Thank you, 3 Hour Raw. Grade: C+

All I really have to say about the Jerry Lawler return is that I am happy that he came back. This was a real life occurance, and if Michael Cole broke kayfabe, there is no reason that CM Punk should attack Lawler. Cole was way over as a heel, and he changed his beat. There is no need for Punk, who already is facing Cena and Ryback, to confront Lawler. It is ridiculous to see how low WWE will stoop to, and this was pretty low. I know Lawler signed off on the idea, and everyone was okay with it, there needs to be a line drawn, especially on PG Television. If this was TV-14, I can understand the edgyness, but they are going back and forth too much. Punk is too good to try and rely on the heart attack as quick heat. Paul Heyman and him are much more intelligent. This just did not sit well with me, and Lawler should have just came back, said thank you, and took his seat. Get over the idea of getting cheap heat from older men and them trying to hang onto their glory years. That story is so played. Grade: C+

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
