The Stories

I felt like I should focus on a few of the really intriguing stories of Impact. First off, Joey Ryan and Matt Morgan have made some sort of alliance against TNA and the company. They are not a part of Aces and Eights, but they have a different beef with Hogan. Matt Morgan's intensity is great, and his look is very dominating. For the past several years, he has been a guy that Hogan has been high on, but has not pushed him to the top. I have always been a supporter of Matt Morgan, and his pairing with Joey Ryan really interests me.

The combination between the two is kind of awkward, but I think it is going to work. Ryan and Morgan have some sort of feud going with Rob Van Dam, and I do NOT like this. I would much rather have Morgan and Ryan thrown to someone with more importance, like a Mr. Anderson. We know Hogan has always had a soft sport for Anderson, so this would hit perfectly.

The feud of Aries and Hardy will end at Turning Point. Therefore, there needs to be someone else on deck. For this, Hogan made James Storm vs. Bobby Roode vs. AJ Styles at Turning Point. I really thought this was a great idea for a few reasons. As we know, Roode and Storm had one hell of a battle at Bound For Glory. Instead of finishing the feud or trying to duplicate, they tweak it just enough and add in AJ Styles. Styles will always have that main event aura around him. The match will have history, have personal feuds, and all three men are born and bred TNA. I appreciate smart and logical booking. Grade: A-

Aside from working with WrestleZone, Isenberg began his career in Broadcast Journalism interning at ESPN and worked with CBS Radio for three years. He has also had the opportunity to interview some of the best athletes and performers alive, including Andrew McCutchen, Ben Roethlisberger, Chris Jericho, Billy Gunn, Karl Anderson, Matt Hardy, Steven Strasburg and others.

Currently, Josh Isenberg works for Major League Baseball in their Advanced Media Productions. He grew up in Pittsburgh and went to Point Park University, which is where Chair Shot Reality is filmed each week.

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
