Kofi Kingston Defeats The Miz to retain the Intercontinental Championship

What I Liked:

Kofi Kingston has turned a corner in my eyes and will be able to carry the mid card title for a very long time. He carried, and I mean carried, The Miz in this match. Can you name a specific match that Kofi has had in which was not entertaining? I cannot remember because he is so consistent and athletic. I give credit for Miz keeping up with the pace of Kingston, who sped things up with the Boom Drop and a few spinning heel kicks. I really enjoy seeing him wrestle, and Kingston needed to pick up a victory tonight in front of a packed crowd. This will continue to make the Intercontinental Championship interesting.

What I Disliked:

If The Miz is in line for a push, why would he lose clean here? I said this many times and stick with it; Miz does NOT need to be thrown into the main event picture. Let him stay in this very spot to thrive in. He can really help other faces with problems connecting with the crowd to get over. I was very satisfied with the outcome, but still wanted a little bit more. We needed to have a jaw dropping moment, and WWE fell a little short.

Antonio Cesaro Defeats Justin Gabriel to retain the United States Championship

What I Liked:

We were not expecting this match, and it was a pretty decent match. Cesaro continues to get better and better in the ring, while Gabriel gets the PPV crowd to showcase how great of an athlete he is. The overall pace of the match was not that great, lost a little steam in the middle, and did not deliver. You needed to have Gabriel make a big move to really get him over with the crowd.

What I Disliked:

This was quickly thrown together because they had extra time. I would rather see something long term with Gabriel and Cesaro, but it looks like Cesaro will continue to roll. Gabriel's momentum, if he had any, is all gone now. The loss on Raw for Cesaro does not matter whatsoever, and he is going to be wasted even more without a real feud. With his skills and unqiue European offensive attack in the ring, he needs to find someone to match wits with. I just am not sure who that is.
