Title This: Impact Wrestling Reaction 10-18

Impact WrestlingOpening Segment

What I Liked:

Devon comes out with Aces and Eights and talk about why he turned his back on TNA. He also adds that he never forgot how Bully treated him and his son, and that the company turned their back on him. The TNA roster comes out and chases off Aces and Eights. As we get back from break, Sting vs. Devon is announced. I really enjoyed the beginning of Impact because this is what everyone wanted to see. We know Hardy is the champion, and that can wait. We also know that the world has been buzzing about Devon and his revelation. Even though many people have been critical of Devon, I am interested to see where this goes because there are many avenues to travel over the course of a few months.

What I Disliked:

If you look closely, one guy is definitely Luke Gallows. As the faces become more exposed, the hardcore fan will realize who these guys are. Keep them covered and clothed. I think they need to reveal them slowely and surely. Next up, you need to build the Aces and Eights as villians who are not cowards. Let them run rampid around the Impact Zone.

Samoa Joe Defeats Robbie E

What I Liked:

This match was built to make Joe look like a bulldozer. With his size advantage and his intense technical wrestling in the ring, this was a good idea. Robbie E has a lot of talent, but this is not the right pairing. I expect Samoa Joe's matches to go like this for the foreseeable future, which is basically making quick work of inferior opponents. His finisher is still very impressive.

What I Disliked:

His dominance will continue, but who will stop him? He takes out Robbie T at the end of the match, but he is much larger. Do people really buy this? I am not the biggest fan of Samoa Joe, but at least they are utilizing his talents. I really wish there was more to the TV Title than we have seen thus far from him.
