John CenaJohn Cena Promo

What I Liked:

it was nice to see John Cena open up Raw for a few reasons. Many still believe that he will face CM Punk for the WWE Championship at Hell in a Cell. I know he is injured, but he needs to do all that he can to keep the heat on Punk vs. Cena. The crowd wants to see Cena, even the ones that hate him. I also think his promo was funny, to an extent, clean, and really was just to have him seen on TV. There was no interference, no drama, and no reason for him to be interrupted. Let Cena do what he does best, and that is get the crowd fired up for a long night. Cena accomplished this, accomplished his personal beef with Punk, and confronted Punk even without seeing him face to face. In my mind, this is all that Cena could have done, and it was done well.

Ryback Defeats Primo and Epico

What I Liked:

Man, Ryback is getting a great response from the crowd. With his look and powerful demeanor, Ryback could really be a big player for a long time. He is not Goldberg, so stop comparing him to Bill. Ryback continues to get the crowd's support, and rarely misses a step in the ring.

What I Disliked:

I still do not understand why he is being booked like this, by beating two weaker opponents. Props to JBL for trying to convince us that Primo and Epico are legit competitors, but let's be real. If you want him to feud with Punk, or even be mentioned in the same breath, then let him be exclusive to higher competition. This is not doing anything to help the overall growth of Ryback.
