Impact WrestlingMr. Anderson Defeats Gunner

What I Liked:

Anderson says he is throwing his hat in the ring for being Sting's partner. The match had Gunner lock in a quick submission hold onto Anderson, but the match was only about two or three minutes. Anderson hits him with the Mic Check in emphatic fashion. Kid Kash comes out and gets a Mic Check.

What I Disliked:

Anderson has been mishandled ever since he got into TNA, but we still have to try and believe he is one of the main talents? When was the last time we saw him do something meaningful? I really hate the illogical choices they throw out each week, and this was one of them. I want Anderson to do more, but it has not been consistent or creative whatsoever. The match was quick and did not provide much entertainment.

Tara and Gail Kim Defeats Miss Tessmacher and ODB

What I Liked:

Good wrestling from Tara and Gail Kim, as they exchange quick tags to freshen up the pace. ODB gets beaten down by Tara, but a nice knee to her face changes the advantage in the match. Tessmacher hits a few forearms, clotheslines, and hits a really nice head scissors takeover. The pace picked up quickly, and I thought the match really impressed me with the development of Tessmacher. Tara picks up the win after hitting Tessmacher with the Widow's Peak. I think, for this feud, it does a great job for Tara to get the psychological victory heading into BFG in a few weeks. I liked all parts of this match, and did just enough to remind us that Gail Kim is lurking still.

Joey Ryan and Al Snow

What I Liked:

It started with Tazz, now Snow is involved. I really am a fan of the character of Joey Ryan, and feel like he has a future. His look, his arrogance, and his creativity have showed everyone that he was meant for Gut Check. The entire program was built for him to look better than everyone else. He has done that, and stand out STILL. Joey Ryan signs the contract on his back, which made me laugh a bit. Al Snow tricks him into getting him to sign a contract, which actually is a one night contract to fight him at Bound For Glory against me.

What I Disliked:

It is Al Snow. I really haven't ever bought into him as a legit opponent. I feel like Ryan should have someone with more prestige, more luster, and more importance. If Tazz was healthy, I would have bought into that. This match is going to be good, not great. If this is technically his first match as a TNA Superstar, he should have someone with more importance. I will enjoy the ride, but still question why Al Snow got the nod.
