What’s NOT Bothering Me: AJ, Former Star Return, New Saturday WWE Show

I’m happy to devote some of my space here on WrestleZone to congratulate Kip Sopp, aka Billy Gunn. I don’t have many wrestlers I consider friends, but Kip is one that I do and I’m proud he’s getting another chance — not just in wrestling, but at life as well.

His passion for this business is infectious. His talent is still undeniable. I think WWE would be lucky to have him, in any capacity.

The word making the rounds is that Billy might be invited back to appear again on WWE television due to the positive impression he left in St. Louis at Raw 1,000. Good for him. Personally, I think the more important story might end up taking place off camera, in some sort of behind-the-scenes role.

Kip would never claim to be the best talker in the world — luckily, he didn’t have to be — but he absolutely knows what he’s doing inside the squared circle.

A training or agent position of some kind would add great length to Kip’s wrestling career. Younger wrestlers would certainly benefit as a result, too.

I’m not opposed to a short New Age Outlaws return either, but that could be personal bias more than anything else. Probably is, in fact.
