Title This: WWE Raw Reaction 7-2-12

Big ShowBig Show def. Kane

What I Liked:

Well, two of the competitors in the WWE Championship Money in the Bank Ladder Match face off. I really did not find many positives in the match. I like that both men are being taken somewhat seriously, but there is just not too much you can do with them together in the ring. Kane hit a decent DDT on Show, and he did not look completely wasted by suffering a loss.

What I Disliked:

Would Kane and Show be better suited in a tag match? Yes, because they cannot work in the ring anymore together, They are too similar and it never succeeds with Giant vs. Giant. You will get some good slugs in with one another, but that is about it. The spear did not really look great on television, as it seemed hesitant and forced. There is just no progression and no angle in the match for the crowd to connect with. It was a bunch of fluff with two big guys who struggle with one another in the ring athletically.

Tyson Kidd def. Tensai

What I Liked:

I was thrilled to see Tyson Kidd on Raw because he needs the exposure. Out of anybody on the Smackdown roster, Kidd is a guy who can thrive quicker than most. His ring ability is great. The match itself was nothing to write about since it was a quick roll up, but good for Kidd to get exposed on Raw and hopefully people will buy into him being an underdog at Money in the Bank. There is room for him to do good things, especially in the mid card status. I could see him vs. Cody or him fighting for the US or IC title if a heel ever gets it.

What I Disliked:

I argued with Chris Cash on VOW last night that it did not mean anything to beat Tensai, but it was more just getting important TV time. Tensai is a complete waste. We do not care he attacks Sakamoto because neither have gotten over. It is plain and simple, neither guy has an level of importance to the crowd.
