Title This: Impact Wrestling Reaction 6-28-12

Rashad Cameron def. Mason Andrews

What I Liked:

Two young guys get a chance to work in the ring. I thought the match was alright, with a few nice moves from both guys. Mason hit a beautiful Hurricanranna, but Cameron was the focal point offensively. His jumping STO for the victory was impressive, and shows his athleticism. After the match, he cuts a quick and effective promo to get his name out there.

What I Disliked:

Even though I was interested in seeing two young guys go, you knew Cameron was the guy going to pick up the victory. Would it almost be better if he beat a face of TNA everyone is familiar with? This would make it a little more impressive and more of an Impact.

Grade: B

-Hulk is impressed with James Storm, and says Sting is getting better. Jeff Hardy is sitting back with them, and Hulk says they are the main event next week.

Gut Check Challenge:

What I Liked:

Taelor Hendrix is reviewed by the judges, and Taz gives her a Yes. I actually really enjoyed how Joey Ryan was in the crowd, still upset at Taz. Taz does not need to wrestle, but this is a very intelligent idea for Ryan to get exposure without being a "wrestler." Hendrix gets two yesses, so she is going to get the opportunity. I think the experiment is going well so far, and you can tell they like Ryan a lot. This is his own angle, his own feud, and that is a good way to build some unknown in a quick way. He is not a guy needing to squash opponents, but can be more creative.

What I Disliked:

I want the judges to agree on something. Hendrix needs to improve on the microphone, but she is very young and gets a pass. That is all.
