Number 9: The Rock vs. The Undertaker

Overshadowed by the debut of the NWO in the WWE, The Rock and The Undertaker put on quite a performance in 2002. Two men in different stages of their careers were able to work for 17 minutes and Rock got more athleticism out of Taker than most do. This was at a point where Undertaker relied more on striking and basic power moves. He did not do much, as he weighed over 320 pounds. Furthermore. it was the cocky attitude of Rock, who made fun of Maven eliminating Taker at the Royal Rumble, that sparked this match. A match many forget, because HHH and Angle wrestled, as well as Austin and Jericho, but I felt this match with the men involved was a great example of where the company was and all the talent they had.
