Title This: 2012 WWE Extreme Rules Reaction

John Cena def. Brock Lesnar in an Extreme Rules Match:

What I Liked:

Brock Lesnar looked like a complete fighting machine here. You need to be very careful in how you book him because everyone knows that a simple AA will not really hurt him. He completely dominated Cena throughout the match, including real strikes to the head and chest. The blood Cena spilled was intense and really felt like it was supposed to be there. Lesnar was able to work his moves from UFC, as well as some of his WWE moves combined. He needed to be the guy that carried this match from an offensive and physical standpoint. Whenever Cena would garner any offensive, Brock would counter and work his abdominal area. Great physicality from both guys in a match that was far from a wrestling match. Brock looked like he did not miss a step, and it helped that he was given many freedoms in the ring to make it look as real as possible.

What I Disliked:

Cena winning was surprising to me. He basically hit Lesnar in the head with a chain and hit an AA on steel steps. If you are going to beat Brock, as least do more than two moves to keep him down. I just thought it lacked sensability and logic. Also, when Cena spoke at the end about going away for a while, why not do it on Raw tomorrow? Have him sell his injuries and let the anticipation begin for Raw.
