Title This: WWE Super Smackdown Reaction 4-10

Cody Rhodes comes out and talks about the Blast from the Past. He says they need to look at the future and not the past. He says he is the future of the WWE, but out comes his father. Dusty Rhodes comes into the ring and talks about Cody embarassing him. Cody fires back and says this has nothing to do with him. Dusty talks about how he was poking a bear, The Big Show. Out comes the Intercontinental Champion, who shows a Cody Rhodes embarassing moment, where he is putting on Lip Gloss. Show leaves and Cody leaves his father in the ring.

I really enjoyed this, especially since they are going to keep this feud going. I am not a fan of the two, as I felt their time has come and gone in terms of wrestling, but at least they are seeing things through. I really do feel like Rhodes will benefit from this, possibly tweak his character into some sort of aggressive and control-freak superstar. He needs the look he has now with the mentality of when he had the mask on. That will push him further and to the top in no time. Big Show can help him do that as well.

Grade: B+

Sheamus and Mene Gene Okerlund def. Alberto Del Rio and Daniel Bryan:

What I Liked:

Sheamus continues to shine in my eyes. Even though he was grounded by the similar attacks from Bryan and Del Rio. The match was less to be desired for, and then we get all of the legends come out to help Mean Gene when Sheamus is down. Piper distracts Bryan, which was a smart idea for Bryan getting a loss and not looking extremely weak.

What I Disliked:

Again, I cannot begin to explain how much I hate meaningless television. Many will argue that it is just one week, but look at how much stock is invested in Raw compared to Smackdown. You will never see something that wastes THIS much time on Monday Night. I wonder what is going to happen next week, back to basics I assume. Here is to not seeing garbage live on television again. Make this a wwe.com special.

Grade: D

Smackdown Grade: C- (That is very generous. There were a few good moments in an overall bad show.)
