WWE WrestleMania 28

A Great Time To Be A Wrestling Fan

Follow up that weekend with a red-hot Raw on Monday featuring one of the best live crowds I’ve ever seen on TV and the return of Brock Lesnar. TNA is also improving, slowly but surely. I have confidence in the people in charge and now with the relationship with Spike TV renewed, I look forward to seeing their progression.

Ring of Honor featured the best wrestling match I have ever called… Davey Richards vs Michael Elgin on Day 2 of Showdown in the Sun and was given 5 stars by many reviewers. I met fans from all over the US and Europe in Ft. Lauderdale, including some first-timers who never had seen ROH live but are now fans of the promotion.

Daniel Bryan turned the only blemish of the weekend into a huge positive as well. Think about this… he’ll get paid at least $10,000 for 18 seconds of work and is launching a new t-shirt that should make him a whole lot more. They also should create the template for the “NO! NO! NO” shirt and have that ready to go, because that’s coming soon.

Rumors of other big names like Batista and Lashley talking about a WWE return should make fans of them happy.

So, if you are a wrestling fan, things are good right now.

Oh, and the WWE still has the Rock involved and rumors of a Stone Cold return for next year’s Mania continue to percolate.
