Stars in Progress: Punk/Y2J, Taker/HHH, Christian & More

A few house notes first:

1) I want to inform everyone that my writing schedule will be changing, effective immediately. It's an easy change, however. I will be moving my "What's Bothering Me" feature to Fridays instead of Saturdays. My "Cashbox" column and this one will remain on Wednesday and Sunday.

2) Billy Gunn will again be joining me, live via video, tomorrow night for "VOW Reaction". The show will begin immediately following Raw and even cooler, I have a new studio background ready to go!

3) If you're interested in hosting your own live radio or video show, contact me at chris.cash@wrestlezone.com. Get a friend or two together and host your own wrestling or sports talk show. All you need is Skype, a mic, a decent internet connection, and a webcam (for video). More details via email if you're interested.

With that out of the way, let's get started!

CHRISTIAN

One Step Up

Friday's Smackdown opener helped continue the Teddy Long vs John Laurinaitis program by adding Christian and Kofi Kingston to the match at WrestleMania. Both are fitting and specifically, it will be great to see Christian back in action.

I never quite saw Christian as a world champion, but there's no denying his talent. Or his following.

With no MITB at 'Mania, this multi-man bout surrounding the two general managers is taking it's place in a way. It's giving other valuable members of the roster a purpose on the big stage. Christian's inclusion works for me.

And I'm still waiting for the Miz's face turn when he joins Teddy Long's team.
