Elimination Chamber

One Expected Step Up

WWE has proven me wrong multiple times when I've predicted a pay per view would be eventful and newsworthy. It will likely happen again tonight. But I'm going to keep predicting it until I get it right.

It's like the roulette wheel in Vegas landing on black over and over again. So, you come up, throw down on red for a chance to quickly double your money. You'll get it wrong on the first try damn near everytime. You do it again. Same result. Maybe it happens a third, fourth time. But eventually, it HAS to land on red.

Tonight, I'm waiting for something worth talking about when it's over. Anything. A title change would suffice, but it's not quite what I'm referring to. Honestly, John Cena is the only person I could see causing us to leave tonight's event buzzing to any great degree.

As I've said before, a heel turn isn't necessary (although I still think it's probably the best option), but we do need a fresh spin on his character. When the pay per view is over tonight, all eyes are on Cena, Rock and Miami.

WrestleMania 28 will be big, as is. It can be bigger. The Rock is the Rock — there's no need in changing him at this point. John Cena is the key. If anything is to change before April 1st, it lies with Cena.

Maybe it begins tonight?

Chris Cash can be reached via email at wzchriscash@yahoo.com. Follow him on Twitter @RealityofChris during tonight's Elimination Chamber pay per view, and be sure to tune in to his all-new, LIVE VIDEO BROADCAST, the "VOW Reaction", immediately following tonight's event. The show will kick off around 11:15 EST on WrestleZone.com and VOWLive.com.
