Title This: Impact Wrestling Reaction 2-16

James Storm def. Bully Ray to become the Number 1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship:

What I Liked:

The meticulous work from Ray to target one body part was great. When he attacked Storm's leg, I really felt it showed that Ray is much smarter in the ring than most people give him credit for. The pace was solid, not too fast or slow. Both guys are physical and rely solely on their power to get over in the ring. Storm continues to impress me, with a unique power attack. Ray is the classic brawler, but uses his personality in the ring and his mannerisms to make it slightly different. A solid reversal to hit the last call was a nice touch to a good match. Also, Brandon Jacobs entering and celebrating was nice to see. If WWE brings in jokes as guest hosts, I do not mind this. Post match saw Ray attack Storm, and then spit the celebratory beer in Jacobs' face. A nice brawl from Ray and Jacobs, not too much but just enough.

What I Disliked:

We need more of a reason to care about this. Next week, Jacobs needs to talk about why he is friends with Storm, and not make this completely random. Jacobs is a big guy and I feel like he could be limited in his physicality in TNA. I will keep my mind open to this.

Storm calls out Roode. Roode ends up low blowing and attacking Storm. He also tells Sting to mind his own business, attacks him as well, slaps him in the face, and leaves.

Grade: B+

Impact Grade: B

I love the ending. You have an open ended story, and make your champion look very strong in all aspects. Question of the Article to discuss, When will Roode vs. Sting happen? And, do you want to see that match? Answer below.
