WrestleZone Top Ten: Chris Jericho Moments

Josh Isenberg

Number 9: Jericho targets the legends:

March 23. 2009 on a Monday Night Raw, Chris Jericho was less than two weeks away from WrestleMania 25 where he would face Ricky Steamboat, Roddy Piper, and Jimmy Snuka. Obviously, this was not a great match and the angle was filled with holes and lack of logic. This night, Jericho would brutally attack Ric Flair to a point where he would shed ounces of blood all over the arena. Jericho targeted arguably the most complete professional wrestler in the history of this profession. You have to remember, this was one of the last times we saw TV-14 on Raw, a time where WWE would transition into family television, the daunted TV-PG rating. Jericho was so great at turning from face to heel without flaw and with the current product. This night, I will always remember as being the last time we saw TV-14.
