Title This: WWE Raw Reaction For 1/2/12

Chris Jericho Returns:

What I Liked/Disliked:

For the full return, check it out in the Wrestlezone.com videos section. I loved the anticipation, the lights, the jacket, and seeing Jericho back. Everyone wants Jericho to return, but as a heel or face? Of course him not speaking was a great way to get the crowd's reaction to turn. I know I was getting annoyed when he kept pandering to the crowd. When he went to the crowd, it reminded me of CM Punk, and reminded me of Punk's fans loving him when he comes to them. This was not the best executed return, but leaves the door open for creative to capitalize on him being a heel quicker than usual. Even Kane got a huge pop when he returned. I did not love it or hate it, was kind of lukewarm about it. This has so much potential to set up Punk vs. Jericho at Mania, the match all the IWC wants to see.

Grade: B+

Big Show, John Cena, and Zack Ryder def. Mark Henry and Jack Swagger:

What I Liked:

So happy not to see Kane in this match rather than what was advertised. I do not want him exposed too much, and like I said before, keeping him mysterious is the best way to go for the long haul with him. The match was decent as well, with good showing by Ryder and Cena. We basically got the typical moves from all men involved, and the finish worked for me. I did not hate it, and thought that Cena with the pin on Swagger still makes Ryder and Swagger a match in the future without it being ruined by a cheap pin fall. Kane coming out of the ring at the end trying to grab Ryder was great, giving the foreshadowing of dragging him to hell. Do not give it away, but let Kane get close to Cena, but not close enough.

What I Disliked:

I know it is heels vs. faces, but I want Bryan here instead of Henry. He, not Mark Henry, faces Show on Smackdown. Make him an important part of the night, which he wasn't.
