Title This: WWE Smackdown Reaction 11-25-2011

We get a backstage segment with Long and Aksana. The same as every week. Also, Henry comes in and complains about having to compete next week.

Ryder and Sheamus put on a funny bit backstage, as they get ready for their tag match coming up next.

Zack Ryder and Sheamus vs. Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger:

What I Liked:

Ziggler on the microphone was funny and effective to get the crowd over. He is cocky, but is a heel that people begin to like due to his excellence in the ring. He is clever and say a dry sense of humor that gets over. I really enjoyed watching Sheamus and Swagger brawl, as these are two big guys who are athletic and quick for their size. Swagger continues to be a reliable guy in the ring, and it was good to see the difference in chemistry when Ziggler and Ryder fight. They work off of the others' strengths. I also enjoyed the finish, making Sheamus look strong, making Ryder look great, and even somehow making Ziggler look good even though he lost. We see the careful planning of all three of these guys, and it seems the odd man out will be Swagger. They also mixed in technical wrestling, outside fighting, and high flying abilities. Everything was in this match that a true wrestling fan wants to see.  About 16 minutes of ring work also, fantastic. Well done.

What I Disliked:

There was nothing that I disliked in this match, maybe aside from the useless Vickie. I cannot stand her screaming, and still feel Ziggler needs to move on from her. He will thrive without her, Swagger not so much.

Grade: A

Bryan is talking to AJ, Barrett interrupts and talks about their match tonight. AJ kisses Bryan for luck I assume.

Ted DiBiase vs. Heath Slater:

What I Liked:

Another week of DiBiase winning. It was another week to show DiBiase's skill in the ring, mixing in his size and speed. He has the look, just is lost with his character. Slater comes back from his suspension, and shows a nice quick offensive flurry. He hits a nice armdrag take down. He gains some offense, but it's about DiBiase and his winning streak.

What I Disliked:

Using Jinder Mahal on screen to compare his fortunes to DiBiase. There is zero interest in Mahal from anybody, and has no chance of getting pushed, especially since he has been squashed in his few matches over the past month or two. The match was  average at best, nothing great came out of it either.

Grade: C
