Always one of the crowd favorites, Rob Van Dam was not a full time wrestler for a few years after leaving WWE. He has the athleticism, the popularity, and the respect of many in the company. When Van Dam decided to jump to TNA, he brought experience, athleticism, and a healthy run. He was able to really catapult himself into themain event picture because of his name, bu this talent in the ring did not diminish. He also was a guy whom younger, smaller, and more versatile superstars could learn from. RVD made a great debut, and became a popular TNA superstar very quickly.
