Samoa Joe Loses

One Redundant Step Down

Joe has had a lot of momentum in recent months due to his storyline of wanting to take out wrestlers involved with the BFG Series.  Putting Crimson on the shelf and then working with Matt Morgan had me taking Samoa Joe the other direction in this feature just about every week.  However, this week I feel different as Joe lost to Crimson with a small package.

Can someone (besides Mark Madden) tell me why TNA doesn't ever commit to Samoa Joe fully?  The crowd has always been behind him and his non-traditional look makes for a refreshing change of pace.  He can work.  His mic skills are a little weak, but then again, he doesn't need to talk much and his character is more believable when he doesn't.

I know TNA is high on Crimson and I get it, but a small package?? I hate that finish 7/10 times in the first place, but especially for a guy like Joe who ends up looking extremely weak as a result.  Let Crimson get a the win through disqualification or something and then have Joe go over at the first pay per view.  Now "there's" something different.

Might just be wishful thinking on my part though.  And maybe I'm wrong.  Is Samoa Joe as deserving as I think he is?
