Sin Cara Starts Winning

One Turnbuckle Up

Suspended, replaced…in trouble, not in trouble…Sin Cara's status with WWE has gone up and down so much since his debut with the company, it's getting difficult to keep track.  Just when you think he's in the dog house for failing the Wellness Policy, he returns from the 30-day suspension and starts winning immediately.  Winning everything!

I was at Raw last week live and was actually surprised at the reaction Sin Cara received from the Tulsa crowd.  While I don't think a good applause is consistent in every city, it does show potential.  Sin Cara beat Jack Swagger on Raw and Daniel Bryan on the live edition of Smackdown the following night.  Consecutive wins on consecutive nights.

I haven't truly bought into Sin Cara yet and feel he's going to have a hard time making the WWE Universe invest in him and what he's doing completely without the ability to talk.  His recent post-match attack on Daniel Bryan was interesting though and could be a good way to convince the WWE fans to care about Sin Cara, the character, and not just Sin Cara, the wrestler.

In any case, Sin Cara is being given an opportunity right now and has taken a step in the right direction.  But did it have to come at the expense of another Smackdown star that needs all the help he can get right now?

This writer says "no."
