The Wrestling Authority (Uncensored!)

Please keep in mind that the views expressed in this article are mine and not that of Wrestlezone. It took me a couple of days to get all the facts straight and think this through, so letâs get down to business. I was disappointed with Turning Point. As most of you know, I consider myself a huge fan of TNA and really thought their company was on fire. Sky was the limit. Now, I have doubt. What I saw on Sunday night disgusted me. I saw a mediocre show capped off with an ending right out of WCW.

Let me be the first to say that I am not sticking up for Scott Hall. He let TNA and the fans down yet again. He might have even burned his very last bridge. Say goodbye to the bad guy! What infuriated me was the way this situation was taken care of. KEEP THE POLITICS IN THE BACK WHERE THEY BELONG! While Samoa Joe made SOME valid points, he ruined the main event at Turning Point. The solution was simple. Scott Hall backed out. Fill his spot and do what you do best and thatâs wrestle!

Instead of keeping his mouth shut (and I am not sure if this was totally his idea), Samoa Joe had to rip on the older guys that are still in the business. I know he apologized later, but the damage was done. Samoa Joe and other young talent need to realize that itâs a balancing act. You need the big name guys mixed in with the up and coming superstars in order to keep the fans wanting more. Heck, I would go as far as to say there wouldnât be a TNA if it wasnât for guys like Jarrett, Nash, Sting and various others who have contributed to the overall success of the company. I am sure Nash was disappointed in his friend and felt the same way, but why rub salt in the wound. Kevin Nash showed up. He was there and did his job. He fulfilled his obligation.

I believe Samoa Joe is a great talent and I have nothing against him personally, but donât start the whole whining campaign again in professional wrestling. I hate it. I am sick and tired of it! To be completely honest, if a wrestler is unhappy with his situation, then just quit! You wonât do that though, will you? Now you realize you have one of the best jobs in the world. Trust me, there are many hungrier athletes out there just begging for their shot and take your spot. Should Samoa Joe be World Champion? Absolutely! Will his time come soon? You can bet on it.

We have enough reality television on the tube these days. If you have a grudge or want to pick a fight with a coworker, take it to the octagon. I am sure UFC will make room on the card for you to settle the score. If everyone expressed their true feelings at their regular 9-5 jobs, we would all be fired and unemployed. There is a time and a place for this. I love TNA and what I saw on Sunday reminded me too much of a company that is now out of business.

Now itâs time to see how TNA moves forward with this. Although I thought the pay per view overall was sub par, it would be interesting to see if this does go down as a âTurning Point❠of sorts for the company. TNA has a lot going for them. Donât let egos get in the way of success. The fans ultimately choose who they want to see in the main event. This is the way it should be. Samoa Joe spoke about having the power of the microphone in front of him on live pay per view, but we all the pen is truly mightier than the sword.

What are your thoughts on this controversial subject? I want to hear.
